Q: What’s the difference between “rust repair” or “slip-on” and “factory OEM”?

Rust repair style pieces are both cheaper and easier to install, slip-on rockers, for example, are designed to slip directly over top of the existing rocker for quick and easy rust repair. Factory style rockers are much more expensive because they’re made using original OEM dyes and typically require full cut outs of the original rocker and need to be fully welded into place. However, the increased price also means greater coverage, full factory pieces are designed to directly and fully replace the original part.

Q: What types of parts do you sell?

We sell tons of parts, ranging from rust repair panels to full OEM factory replacement parts.

Q: What gauge steel do you use?

The steel gauge can range wildly. Some of our frame pieces use steel as thick as 12 gauge but most of the parts we sell will use standard 18-20 gauge steel. Rockers and quarters, for example, are 18-20 gauge.

Q: I’m in the US/Canada and need to place an order. How do I do that?

All US orders should be placed on noramstore.com and all Canadian orders should be placed on noramstore.ca. US orders will ship from our US location and Canadian orders will ship from our Canadian location.

Q: I don’t see the part I’m looking for, do you offer it?

We may! While our website features most of the parts we sell, there are also certain parts that we sell that are not listed on the site. For example, some hoods, fenders, radiator supports, and other full replacement body panels are available but simply not listed on the site. So please call us at 519-258-6227 to check availability.

Q: How do I install a “slip-on” rocker?

There are actually many different ways you can install them! The most common way is to slip the new rocker over top of the existing rocker and then attach it using glue, pop rivets, screws, spot welds, or any other method you feel will suffice. We make our slip-on rockers as easy to use as possible, so everyone regardless of skill level, feels comfortable working with and installing them.

Q: Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We now offer free FedEx ground shipping nationwide. Please see the shipping information page for more information.

Q: Do you make custom parts?

No. We have a development team in place that assesses what new parts we’re going to make, but we do not custom make or custom fabricate parts.

Q: Do the parts come painted in color?

No. The parts are either unpainted steel or black primed.

Q: I have a business and am looking to do more than just place a single order. What is your wholesale policy? What are your discounts? Who should I contact?

Q: Security

Nor/Am Auto Body Parts seeks to protect the security of your personal information both online and offline. All credit card transactions are secure. Every on-line order is encrypted and sent through a secure server, using SSL technology to prevent information from being intercepted.

Confidential information such as your credit card number will be used only to fulfill your order. To protect your privacy, we will ask you to enter your credit card number and expiration date each time you place an order with us. This way, even if someone else accesses the account information stored on your computer, they won't be able to use your credit card.

E-mail is not encrypted and is not a secure means to transmit credit card numbers. We will only display the last 4 digits of your credit card number on your account.

Shipping & Returns

Q: What shipping options are available?

We offer free FedEx Ground shipping nationwide!

Q: What is your return policy?

The return policy is largely contingent on the reason for the return.

  • Returns may be accepted within 30 days from the date of delivery.
  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
  • We do not accept returns, unless the incorrect item is shipped. Please notify us within 10 days of receipt if the incorrect item is shipped and we will remedy the issue.
  • Items that were incorrectly ordered by the customer must be shipped back to us at the customer’s expense. So please review your orders before placing them!
  • Items that are damaged in shipping may be eligible for a replacement only if the item is significantly damaged. We will not ship replacements if the damage is fixable or minor. This is up to our discretion. Items that ship via truck freight must be refused upon delivery if they are damaged. If the delivery receipt is signed, a return will be not accepted under any circumstances, regardless of the condition of the items.

Q: What could cause a delay in shipping?

The number one reason for a delay is because we’re out of stock on the item. While we do stock most of the items listed on our site, occasionally some of the more obscure items are out of stock. This is frequently the case with quarter panels, for example. Our build time/stock time on out of stock items is generally 2-4 weeks. Please note that for Canadian orders, sourcing can occasionally take longer than expected, so delays may be longer than expected for certain orders in Canada. If you have any questions about your order status, please call or email us directly and we can give you a specific update. If your order hasn’t shipped in 1-3 business day, then we’re likely out of stock, but we’re filling the order as fast as we can!

Q: I’m ordering a large item and the shipping cost is stuck at one price, there’s no free shipping or additional options. What’s going on?

This is likely because the item you ordered is too large to ship via Canada Post or FedEx and must ship via freight truck. All freight shipments are a standard price regardless of destination.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

No, we do not ship internationally outside of the US and Canada. US orders ship from our US location (noramstore.com) and Canadian orders ship from our Canadian location.
